• Save each file in your C:\Office2024Setup folder as:
• configuration_office.xml
• configuration_project.xml
• configuration_visio.xml
• Set “Save as type” to All Files and “Encoding” to UTF-8

Step 4: Install the Products

1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator
2. Navigate to your setup folder:
   

   cd C:\Office2024Setup

3. Run one of the following commands depending on the product you’re installing:

setup.exe /configure configuration_office.xml

setup.exe /configure configuration_project.xml

setup.exe /configure configuration_visio.xml

Note: Installation runs silently. You won’t see a progress window, but Office, Project, or Visio will appear in your Start Menu once complete.

Solution: Perform a clean removal and reinstallation:
